The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office is investigating an animal cruelty case.Concerned neighbors called the Sheriff's Office to report three dogs at a home on Country Road 39 in Stapleton that had not been fed or watered for three weeks.
Deputies found two boxer bulldogs outside the home. One of them had a cable wrapped around both back legs. A third boxer, found inside, was so malnourished it couldn't stand on it's own. That dog was taken immediately to a vet. The other two dogs were taken to animal control.
Charges are expected to be filed soon.
