The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office is investigating an animal cruelty case.

Concerned neighbors called the Sheriff's Office to report three dogs at a home on Country Road 39 in Stapleton that had not been fed or watered for three weeks.

Deputies found two boxer bulldogs outside the home. One of them had a cable wrapped around both back legs. A third boxer, found inside, was so malnourished it couldn't stand on it's own. That dog was taken immediately to a vet. The other two dogs were taken to animal control.

Charges are expected to be filed soon.

well now if they will just put the humans who did this to them chained up to a tree with no food. this will be justice

Where can I adopt one of these beautiful babies??? Please keep us informed of the outcome and where these dogs will go. I’m sure there will not be a shortage of loving homes just waiting to welcome them.
