Police say a woman was stabbed to death by her son who had just gotten out of prison. Body Found In Elberta

2:55 p.m. (Wednesday)
- Police found James Adams walking down a Pensacola street around 2:30 p.m. He has been taken into custody for questioning.
- Ellison's truck was recovered this afternoon after a police chase in Pensacola. But Adams was not inside. The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is questioning the two people who were in the truck.

11:35 a.m. (Wednesday)
- Victim is 60-year-old Pamela Ellison
- Family members found Ellison's body in her garage around 8:00 last night.
- Ellison's tan, 2004 Chevy Silverado is missing (Alabama Tag AN77871).
- Her son, 41 year old James Adams is wanted for questioning. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office says he is armed and dangerous.

10:55 a.m. (Wednesdy)
- Sheriff's Office says the victim is Adams' mother.
- She was stbbed to death.

2:00 a.m. (Wednesday)
- Police issue a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for 41 year old James Adams in relation to the homicide.
- They believe he is driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado.

11:09 p.m. (Tuesday)
Crime Scene Investigators with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office are on the scene of what's believed to be a homicide in Elberta.

A body was found on Old Foley Road sometime after 8:00 p.m.

This is so sad. I must say Ms. Ellison does not look 60 in the picture, and for one her smile just radiates happiness. I am so happy to hear that she was saved and is now with our Good Lord above. It still sickens me to think that a grown man could do this to his own mother…..

I also knew Pam. She was a beautiful person who shared her love for God with anyone around her. Always positive, caring and uplifting there is no doubt in my mind that her eternity will be spent with her Maker. As tragic as this is for anyone who knew Pam and has been left behind, we can rest assured that she is celebrating in the Heavenlies with her adored grandson who proceeded her. God’s love showed through her life and she has earned her reward. As for her sorry son, scripture shows the Lord as saying, “Vengeance is mine” and His punishment is greater than any on Earth.

Did they issue a picture of this James Christopher Adam or possible location that he may be traveling too? Sorry, but there just seems to be so little info in this story and my brain is working overtime.

WOW. Was this a domestic that turned ugly? Were there witnesses that was able to give them this James Christopher Adam’s name and vehicle description? Who is the deceased? What are the circumstances surronding the murder scene? There are a lot of unanswered questions in this article. I look forward to a morning update.
