Orange Beach Police Assistant Chief Greg Duck says a woman heading to work Sunday morning at the Bruno’s in Orange Beach was attacked, beaten and nearly raped.

Her screams and cries for help as she fought off the attacker were answered by co-workers inside the store who chased the man away.

The unidentified woman was able to give police a good description of her attacker and Chief Duck says they have “a good suspect” they are just waiting on DNA evidence.
