5 people are now in custody following undercover investigations by the Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force. Their goal was to bust up meth labs and the people who were distributing the drug throughout the area. The Task Force teamed up with the Niceville Police Department to break up 2 different meth production sites at homes on Elm Street and Madision Street. Dale Doughtrie, 47, is charged with both manufacture and possession of methamphetamine after officers and deputies uncovered drugs at his home on Madison Street.

His 24 year old son Brad is also facing conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

Brandi McMurry, 26, was also taken into custody on conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine charges.

2 more arrests were made at a home on Elm Street. James Carnley, 35, also known as "Red" or "Jeff" faces charges for trafficking in amphetamine and epherdrine, two drugs commonly used to make methamphetamine. He's also faces meth manafacture charges within 1,000 feet of a school.

Danny Owens, 59, was also arrested on Elm Street for possession of drug paraphernalia.
