112,000 Alabamians haven't claimed stimulus check. Unclaimed Stimulus Checks

WASHINGTON (AP) - More than 112,000 Alabamians have yet to claim
their economic stimulus checks.
Most of them are elderly, disabled people or veterans who don't
have to file an income tax return.
The IRS has identified 5.2 million people nationwide who may be
eligible to receive the minimum $300 payment from the government.
But they have not done the paperwork necessary to claim it.
The tax agency is sending out a second notice explaining how to
file so those people can receive their stimulus money.

That really is an awesome idea. However if I know Alabama Government as good if I think I do, there’s gonna be a lot of Politicians taking some vacations with that extra money.

I agree KxVx, sounds good to me. I mean how many people sit back when money is being given away, obviously they aren’t that much in need of it…I was anxiously awaiting for mine to come and I’m sure you were as well…

Ok, we’re talking about a minimum of $33.6 million in unclaimed money. Since I already got mine, and they’re not going to give me another one, how about we put that money into public transportation or public schools?
