Toyota Motors is recalling 15-thousand-600 four-by-four versions of its 2007 Tundra pickup trucks.
Company officials said Friday a propeller shaft connected to the rear axle may
have been improperly heat-treated... which would make it too soft.
According to the automaker, a section of the rear propeller shaft could
separate at the joint... causing the truck to stop.
A Toyota spokesperson says no accidents or injuries are linked to the recall.
Truck owners will be notified of the recall later this month.
Customers can then get a free replacement at their dealer.
