today it will feature a special discount or promotion each week to
help consumers "stretch their grocery dollars" as customers begin
receiving tax rebate checks.
The company said its "Stretch Your Check" program will begin
with a $5 off coupon its May 14th circular. Winn-Dixie said it will
cut more than 1,000 prices through July 4th.
The supermarket chain added it will cash customers' tax rebate checks for free. The checks will be mailed out starting
Friday. Some consumers have already received their payments in
their bank accounts through direct deposit.
