Hundreds of thousands of people have registered to vote in Mobile County, but the question is are they going to show up at the polls in November? This election is expected to be a record setting year for the presidential race.
Antionette Jackson is one of those registered voters.
She's retired and says she not only watches Barack Obama and John McCain's every move, but also the local candidates.
Jackson has voted in a number of elections in her time and says she's a firm believer in making sure every vote counts.
"If you don't vote and things are not going the way you think they are, you are responsible for putting that person in office, so you can't complain," said Toulminville community resident Antionette Jackson.
The deadline to register to vote is October 24th.
