Hundreds of thousands of people have registered to vote in Mobile County, but the question is are they going to show up at the polls in November?
This election is expected to be a record setting year for the presidential race.
Antionette Jackson is one of those registered voters.
She's retired and says she not only watches Barack Obama and John McCain's every move, but also the local candidates.
Jackson has voted in a number of elections in her time and says she's a firm believer in making sure every vote counts.
"If you don't vote and things are not going the way you think they are, you are responsible for putting that person in office, so you can't complain," said Toulminville community resident Antionette Jackson.
The deadline to register to vote is October 24th.

yes. remember when ben affleck was campaigning for al gore, then it came out he was not even a registered voter.

You are so right petal. Kinda of tired of peoples 2cents worth when they have no intention of voting. Now before any vote w/an individual the first question to ask is, “are you a registered voter?” then “are you gonna vote?” and then"Can you debate without getting mad?”. A no to any of these questions shows me that the individual is not worth my time or breath. It’s really a simple policy.

i will vote for sure. if you do not vote, you can not complain. voting is very important.
