The V-6 Nissan Altima has edged out the Honda Accord as the top-rated midpriced car in America by just one point.That's according to Consumer Reports annual test. It's the first time Nissan has topped the list. The Accord has been on top of the lsit for the past five years.
The magazine also named the 4-cylinder Altima as the top affordable family sedan. 2008's top automobile list will be annouced in the April issue of Consumer Reports. The Altima is made in Smyrna, TN and Canton, MS.
