SurveyUSA Exclusive: Economy Bad ... and Getting Worse: 2 of 3 Americans say the USA is already in a recession, and a separate 38% say the economy will be worse a year from now than it is today, according to a SurveyUSA poll of 1,200 adults nationwide.

81% worry that they will be unable to pay their bills.
59% worry about losing their job.
46% worry about losing their home.
85% worry about not having enough money for retirement.

Almost half worry 'a lot' that the USA may be headed for an economic Depression. All interviews conducted after federal rescue of Bear Stearns, but before Federal Reserve rate cut on 03/18/08.
