DENVER (AP) - Talk about squeezing every penny at the gas pump.
Denver police say clerks at a gas station had a run-in with a
man who insisted on paying for his fuel with $10 in pennies on
Thursday.
The clerks said they were too busy with other customers and
vendors making deliveries to accept the sackful of cents. They said
the man was insistent and became offensive, so they called police
and referred to him as an "unwanted person."
The man left before police arrived. Police say he was driving a
satellite TV truck.

This lot seems a bit narrow once you take into consideration the walls thickness. But I guess it’s just one in a bag full to look at and consider. GOOD LUCK.

yes carl, that home is where i would start looking its in the area that was shown on hdtv.
the village was awsome,http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/shows_hhint/episode/0,2756,HGTV_24956_47756,00.html
you walk to the market, its in the historic district.

Good luck with your endeavor rosepetal. I looked at the site-just remember, nothing in Mexico costs as much as they ask for it-they are MORE than willing to bargain. My daughter went to Cozumel and Calica on her senior trip, just a few weeks ago, with my mom, and they got some REALLY good deals.

That’s not the one 20 foot wide and 80 foot long is it rosepetal? the grey stone colored one.

rmseek1234, for 2 dollars a gallon you could roll those pesos

mseek1, dauphin island is pretty, but deadly because of the under tow,  trust me not to sound unpatriotic it does not hold a candle to sea of cortez, neither does florida, a whole lot less expensive. of course in some places its like really expensive. but renovation cost is really reasonable to some of the older homes in the villages, this is the village everyone braggs about and the house i am going to go see.
hopefully

Aw shucks-I’m busted! That would probably be the only way I could travel that far, with the cost of gas. Unless I could get someone to accept my jar of change-lol!

I can see you now RMSEEK1234 driving your herd of horses in a covered wagon going south of the border and your hubby as a shotgun. You don’t let him kiss them horses do you, like them cowboys in the old movies? I hear it gives you terrible bad breath. grin

The ones I saw were on the pacific side. I don’t know if the land is similar to our colony land ,such as the eastern shore and parts of mobile, or not. but if you can live on it for 99years as the colony land then I would think that should cover all the time you would have to worry about. Not to many have to worry about moving after 99 years but they probably would give you a great deal on the second 99 years if you paid in advance.

Gee, I might start checking for a vacation home. Would probably be a lot cheaper than say, ummm, Dauphin Island!
