Advance Tickets to the Greater Gulf State Fair go on sale today at all area Regions Banks, RBC Banks and select credit unions. This year's Fair starts October 17 and runs through October 26.
Adult admission tickets are $6 in advance, $8 at the gate. Children 2-10 are $4 in advance, $6 at the gate. Admission for children under two is free. Discount ride coupons are also available at all ticket outlets. Parking is free.
Advance admission tickets and ride coupons make an already afforadable outing one of the best buys in family entertainment. The carnival rides are the number one attraction at the Fair and the discount ride coupons allow substantial savings. Plus, all musical entertainment and ground acts are fre with paid admission to the Fair.
Scheduled to appear on the Fair's Budweiser Grandstand this year are The Molly Ringwalds, Keith Anderson, Jeff Bates and Crossfire, a military rock band from Fort Rucker. PRCA Professional Rodeo and Bulls & Barrels are a Fair favorite.
