Lottery officials say 60-year-old Frank M. Skinner and his wife,60-year-old Phyllis D. Skinner, and their three children claimed
their prize from the Aug. 29 drawing Thursday. The Carrollton
residents said they didn't step up immediately because they wanted
to consult financial advisers first.
Phyllis Skinner, a high school secretary, bought the winning
ticket at a Chevron station in Mableton just north of Atlanta in
Cobb County.
The Skinners will receive about $82 million before taxes. They
have not said what they plan to do with their winnings.
