If you think gas prices are high in your neighborhood, you should check out a station on Gorda, California. Angry drivers are calling what they're charging for gas "highway robbery."There is no big sign giving the price per gallon and for good reason.
"No one would stop," said station attendant James Willman.
Because gas here costs, are you ready, $5.19 a gallon for regular. Super is $5.40.
Bill Burbes said "I wish I'd seen it before I stopped here."
In all likelihood, this is the most expensive gas station in America. Anyone who pulls up and says fill it up is in for a shock.
When asked why the price is sky high, Willman said "We're out in the middle of nowhere. Plus, we can get away with it."
