News 5 has found a place where you can buy gas for 99-cents a gallon. The problem is you'll have to drive 256-miles to get it.

Giles Nissan in in Lafayette, Louisiana is offering the promotion until 8:00 p.m. Monday night. There is however a limit of 10 gallons per car.

Marketing director Herb Montalbano says the community has been good to owner Bob Giles and Giles likes to give back. The dealership's tank holds about 1,200 gallons.

The cheap gas promotion started at 8:00 this morning. Cars started lining up at least an hour before that.

Police are helping direct traffic during the promotion and stands offering water are set up along the street.
