The owner of a restaurant in Denver, Colorado has released some dramatic surveillance video of a man crashing a BMW into the business, sending customers and employees running for their lives. The incident happened this past weekend at the Pho 7 Restaurant. The restaurant has several surveillance cameras and all of them captured the drama that played out in mere seconds.
Surveillance video shows the driver of a BMW looking to pull into a parking spot in front of the restaurant. A man on foot approached the driver and moments later, that man is seen punching the driver of the BMW. The driver decided to hit the gas, crashing through the front window of the restaurant, with the man still hanging on to the side of the BMW.
Customers and employees could be seen running to get out of the way of the car, with glass, chairs, tables and even people being tossed around in the chaos.
After the car came to a stop, the man who was hanging on to the car ran out of the restaurant. Moments later a Denver Police officer runs into the restaurant with his weapon drawn, but that didn’t stop the driver of the BMW from backing out of the store and taking. He was arrested a short time later.
The owner of the restaurant says police told him that Alejandro Dominguez-Lopez did not have a driver’s license and did not have insurance.
There were two people injured in the incident, a customer and a waiter, but the injuries are said to be relatively minor.
The owner of the restaurant did not want to be identified.
