Saban Talks About Contract Extension

Tuscaloosa Nick Saban  Saban says he and wife Terry are very "pleased and happy" and that they expect to be at Alabama for the rest of their coaching career.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama coach Nick Saban has signed a
three-year contract extension.
Athletic director Mal Moore announced the deal Saturday.
Saban signed an eight-year contract when he joined the Crimson
Tide in 2007. The extension takes him through 2017.
The extension is subject to approval by the compensation
committee of the board of trustees of the University of Alabama
System. The committee is expected to meet soon to discuss it.
