This is the tip of the iceberg not only for this small business , but for the soon to be countless others. This economic situation was designed with malicious intent, on purpose folks. The nation is bankrupt and has been since 1938, and has been kept a secret from the public. The federal reserve bank is a private bank. IT IS NO MORE FEDERAL THAN FEDERAL EXPRESS. It loans currency to the govt. at interest when we could coin and print our own money interest free. So when the news speaks of the national debt they are talking about the interest on the loans made by a private bank to the US govt. How does this get paid to the private Fed reserve?  Your income tax money goes to pay the national debt. In fact 100% of all revenue collected from tax payers is absorbed by the interest on the national debt. Not one cent is used to pay for the services that tax payers expect from govt. This is why it is very important to support HR 1207 bill to audit the Federal Reserve bank. We want to know where our money has gone! Last year the (GAO) General Accounting Office, which is the accountants for the govt. had 900 billion in UNDOCUMENTED ADJUSTMENTS! waht are undocumented adjustments? It means the money is missing! We so need to rid our country of a central bank and rid our selves of paper currency. Currency and money are not the same by the way. Money is silver and gold tangible value. Paper is something you wrap fish in, or wipe with, worthless. I feel for all involved in Monroeville Prayer

Cntrygurl, the lights are still off.

Like cntrygurl32, I am also a former employee. Mr Feaster is a good man. He and his entire family was always good to me. I was never cheated or treated unfairly. As many citizens of Monroeville can attest, he has helped many people over the years. These are difficult times and we are all fighting some kind of battle. Maybe he is guilty of poor judgement and I feel badly for all involved, but I do not believe that it is Mr Feasters intention to cheat anyone.

I bet the Feasters have assets they could liquidate to create cash flow. The employees who’ve gone without paychecks probably don’t have a lot of extra wealth in the form of land, credit, and other riches.  The employees are the ones who are losing out. They deserve our prayers. He might be strapped financially, but he has way more resources than the average Joe who works pay day to pay day.

todchi…  To inform you butch has more money than we do.. We live paycheck to paycheck but i can asure u butch doesn’t do without like WE HAVE!! My husband WAS WORKING THERE.. NOT ANYMORE.  HE WAS BUTCH BACKBONE DONE ALL THE HEAVY TIRES..  HE MADE BUTCH MONEY BUT I GUESS BUTCH BLOW IT.. CAUSE HE COULDN’T EVEN PAY HIS WORKERS ON TIME…SO ALL THATS TAKING UP FOR BUTCH.. YA’LL NEED TO BE IN OUR SHOES TO NO HOW IT FEELS TO BE LIED TO WHEN IT COMES PAYDAY…I BET IF IT WAS YOU’D BE ASKING WERES MY MONEY NOW WOULDN’T YOU..

I would not be so fast to judge this man. Times are bad everywhere, especially Monroe county! Mr. Feaster has been a prominent business owner in that area for over 20 years. He is a good and honest man. I assure you this was not a plot to keep payroll checks! He is probaly financially hurting alot worse than the employees missing a check for the last two weeks!

To: thec0204, I happened to be in there getting a tire patched around this time and the power was on when I was in there. They did not have the lights on, but computers and air was on. Heck I dont turn lights on in my own house so it was no different to me! Why pay for lights when you can use the free light that God gave us.

This is such a sad situation all around .. The economy has def been bad here in Monroe County but the least they could have done was tell the people hey Im sorry but I cant pay you so if you want to go look for something else feel free to do so instead of broken promise after broken promise..
