Worker Killed In Plant Accident

Alabama Mobile  Contract worker dies in accident at Honeywell UOP facility near Chickasaw.

A late morning accident claimed the life of a worker at the Honeywell UOP plant on Linde Drive near Chickasaw. Emergency responders were dispatched shortly after 1030am to reports of an accident. The worker's name has not been released.

Honeywell UOP Statement
"We are deeply saddened by the accident that took place late this morning at Honeywell’s UOP facility in Mobile. A contract worker was fatally injured on the job while performing maintenance on our equipment. He was transported to the University of South Alabama Medical Center, where he died early this afternoon. We express our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. The cause of the accident is under investigation, and the company will take appropriate steps in response to the findings."

My husband used to work with the guy and is really upset over this…he told me last night that it didn’t sound right to him…something else had to happened….I hope the family is well and hopefully the Lord will pull them thru this difficult time.

My heart goes out to this family! Truly.  This is a beautiful family.

How sad…any other information on this is story??
