New information on the tragedy involving four children thrown from the Dauphin Island Bridge.
Friends tell News Five the children's mother has returned to work to help ease the memories.
Monday, Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson announced a secret grand jury had handed down five capital murder indictments against the children's father, Lam Luong.
Church leaders say the children's mother, Kieu Phan, is aware of the latest developments.
When asked how Phan was doing, Reverend Daniel Tran of Hollinger's Island Baptist Church said, "She's still in church and recently I know that she's back to work because she just doesn't want to stay home all day long. The memories and things keep coming back."
Reverend Phi Vo, another minister at the church, says, "On the families, there's still some stress because they have not been exposed to the law system or have not ever had to deal with courts and trials."
Tyson says he hopes to get the trial underway soon to help with the recovery process.
He says, "This case is getting special attention because of its seriousness. The clerk's office arranged the warrants for the sheriff's office today and the sheriff's office moved today to get it served."
Church leaders have also announced that after talking with the children's mother, they're winding down collecting donations for the family at a special fund set up at Compass Bank.
Reverend Vo says, "We're going to stop making deposits or taking any donations on the 29th of this month, so if anyone wants to make that last donation, they can."
An arraignment date for Luong has not been set.
The preliminary hearing scheduled for next week has been cancelled.
