Criminals in Mobile are targeting women for money.
You walk out of a store and someone threatens to kill you if you don't follow their demands.
Mobile Police said it's happened twice in two days.
Police said the latest incident happened outside the Dollar Tree store Wednesday afternoon when two women approached a woman in her fifties as she was going to her car.
Christopher Levy with the Mobile Police Department said, "They forced this victim in to the vehicle. This time, they were armed with a handgun and they took this victim to the Compass Bank on Bel Air where they made the victim cash a check."
The victim escaped unhurt, but police believe the women responsible are the same two women who robbed an 81 year old woman walking out of a near-by Wal-Mart Tuesday.
Levy said, "They grabbed her by the arm and told her that she had to follow their demands or they were going to kill her. Then, they took her to the victim's vehicle, brought her to the RBC Bank over there in Springdale Mall and accompanied her inside where they forced her to cash a check."
Police said the women then brought the victim to a Lowe's store.
She called police, but the women had disappeared.
The incidents are prompting people to keep their eyes open.
DeWayne Walker, the manager of the Dollar Tree store, said, "I try to watch all my customers. I've been here two months over at this store and I try to do the best I can to make my customers feel secure."
Rose Slay of Mobile was shopping at the Dollar Tree store Wednesday night.
She said, "You have to look around everywhere you go, even if you go home and pull in your driveway. You have to be conscientious about your surroundings."
When asked she was going to keep a closer eye when she shops, another customer, Pam Cairal of Mobile said, "Always, always. I carry a gun."
Police describe the first suspect is as a black woman, 6'0", 150 to 160 pounds, in her late 40's or mid 50's, wearing a black and white stripe dress.
The second suspect is described as a black woman, 5'5" to 5'6", 240 to 250 pounds, about 40 to 50 years old wearing a green dress.
If you have any clues in these cases, call police.

Are they sure that 6 footer is a woman, and not a dude that looks like a lady?

Oh this is too much.  a 250 lb middle age black woman and her friend are robbing elderly women leaving Walmart and Dollar Tree.

Why?  Are they not prospering from Obama’s stimulant plan and entitlement programs?

Or has someone been watching too many Madea movies?
