Woman Shot Three Times In Robbery Attempt

Alabama Mobile Mobile Police say the shooter is still on the loose.

Mobile Police said a man who shot a woman three times in a robbery attempt Thursday afternoon is still on the loose.
They said the shooting happened shortly after 1:30 pm outside a home in the 1300 block of Cuba Street.
Police have not identified the victim, but they said she was shot three times in the left hand, left side of the face and left hip.
They said she was taken to USA Medical Center, but that her injuries are not life threatening.
Officer Jackie Bridgeforth with the Mobile Police Department said, "We've got one subject in custody. We're looking for another subject."
Police said the man they're looking for was last seen running north on Cuba Street.
One man nearby who didn't want to be identified said, "We didn't even hear it. I was in the house, I came out. It looked like CSI."
Another man, Henry Leonard, said the neighborhood is "pretty safe as long as I've been coming here. I haven't seen any violence as long as I've been coming around here."
Mobile Police said they are looking for a man who goes by the name of "Marcus" and is also known as "Napoleon."
They describe him as black, six feet tall, with a light complexion, and in his early 20's.
Police also said he was last seen wearing a green jacket with a white shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.
