Woman Robs Bank, Rides Off In Taxi

Alabama Mobile Mobile police say a 55-year-old woman took a taxi to the Compass Bank on Bel Air Blvd. robbed it then took the taxi back to her motel.

Mobile police are investigating a bank robbery with an unlikely suspect and an even more unlikely getaway car.

Police say 55-year-old Faith Sullivan called a cab about 9 o'clock this morning to take her to the Compass Bank on Bel Air Boulevard. Sullivan told the driver she'd be right out then went inside and demanded money from the teller. After the heist, police say Sullivan walked out and took the same taxi back to her motel.

According to police, the driver had no idea what Sullivan had just done.

Police arrested Sullivan at her motel on the I-65 Beltline service road along with a man who was visiting her room. The man was released when police determined he had nothing to do with the bank robbery.

Police have not said whether Sullivan used any of the money she stole from the bank to pay for her cab ride.

I bet she isn’t even a katrina victim(it is sad for people to use that as an excuse). I don’t know about all you, but did you notice in the video that the police are dusting a door that everyone that day touched, LOL, gimmi a break, they probably got about 4,000 prints from it. I guess that is what our tax dollars pay for. I am sure that bank has video, that would have been proof enough (along with the driver of the taxi) don’t you think?

This is the same lady that knocked on my car window and harassed me in Lowe’s parking lot about a month ago claiming she was a Hurricane Katrina victim and about to be kicked out of the motel she was living in down the road. She was very persistent and rude begging for money, needless to say she got nothing from me! I wonder how many other people out there she did this to?
I guess people finally stopped believing her sob story and she decided to try her luck at bank robbing! She gets no sympathy from me!

OK I can be passionate about being broke too but that does not justify a Crime of Passion Defense in Robbing a Bank!!!! A crime of passion means that one acted in the heat of the moment and was controlled by his emotions and not thinking the situation through. Obviously by calling for a taxi to take her to a specific bank, asking the taxi to wait for her, going into the bank and demanding money, exiting the bank and getting back into her taxi and going back to her hotel required SOME THOUGHT PROCESS. CRIME OF BEING AN IDIOT YES, CRIME OF PASSION, NOOOOOOO!!!!

I don’t wanna be unpopular on the message board. But, according to jesus23 on the freezer murder board. There is something a called a crime of passion. So, maybe her defense attorney who is just a doing his job could possibly plead that she could not afford her hotel room or her man and had to rob a bank to get her game on. It was a crime of passion…..

Well you do have to give it to her, she did think about her crime before she commited it… LOL. Exactly how many taxi’s are there in Mobile? At least she didn’t take the taxi to and from her home!!! Of course I think it is pretty funny that they were able to find her at the motel that she had the taxi return her to, me I would have high tailed it out of there, to another hotel or something.
