Woman Drowns On Dauphin Island

Alabama Dauphin Island Paramedics say victim not responsive when they arrived.

Dauphin Island police confirm that a woman drowned late this afternoon on the Island. Circumstances are not clear, although emergency responders said that the woman died at the scene. Dauphin Island Police, assisted by Sheriff's Deputies, have not yet released the woman's name, or the details of the incident.
