Woman Runs Over Her Mother With A Car

Alabama Dothan Police say Ciara Cooper was drunk when she ran over her mom during an argument.

DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Police say a 21-year-old Dothan woman faces
a felony assault charge after running over her mother.
Police arrested Ciara Marie Cooper and charged her with felony
first-degree assault. She was charged with striking her 46-year-old
mother, Ruby Russell, with her vehicle after an argument.
Authorities said the pair argued inside the car. Russell was
critically injured after she left the vehicle.
Russell was taken to a local hospital and police said Cooper was
also taken to a hospital where she was treated for intoxication.
If convicted Cooper faces two to 20 years in prison.

kxvicious: I am not suggesting that any of your freedoms be removed! My post was meant to be sarcastic, like taking away my privilege to smoke!Politicians do this stuff. They do set the laws ya know. As far as a “Government controlled country” goes, you live in one! Wake up!!! Seat Belts, Helmuts, smoking, NEXT will be BOOZE! Sorry you didn’t “Catch My Drift”. No, I’m not moving to Cuba. By the way, I kinda feel sorry for the young girl, 20 years max is a little stiff for gettin drunk. Murderers sometimes get less. Have a nice day.

Yeah I agree just because some immature careless people can not make smart decisions with their lives should not take away from letting other people experience theirs. I know that some people choose not to drink or smoke, which is a good decision, that should not determine if other people should or could. It is ultimately up to them.
