A Mobile woman is charged with arson for setting the house she was renting on fire.

Mobile Fire-Rescue got the call at 8:27 a.m. when a neighbor noticed smoke coming from the two-story brick house on Legends Row. They arrived 11 minutes later and discovered a fire in the living room. It took less than five minuted to put out the flames.

Investigators say Tiffany Blakely confessed to setting the rental property on fire.

Damage is estimated at $45 thousand. The Bureau of Fire Prevention is investigating.
