Finding a job these days can be a wild ride. Waterville Amusement Park in Gulf Shores is trying to make it a whole lot easier according to Adam Stewart. "We're looking for one of our better summers that we've had. I know times have been tough but it's time to get started and we're looking to hire about 200 more people."Stewart has worked at Waterville off and on since he was 14. "It's very exciting hear it's a lot of fun." For anyone looking for a job, this could be the ticket. "We're looking for life guards, grounds keepers," says Stewart."Also looking for folks with experience running amusement park rides and things of that nature."
The park is only partially open now and so far, spring break hasn't brought in the big crowds. "We believe in our area. We believe in the gulf coast and think a lot of people are going to still come visit the beach and we're one of the things to do here." Stewart expects the crowds will build over the next several weeks and they'll be ready. Hopefully with about 200 new employees.
