Thanks to some of our viewers, A Theodore man and his granddaughter will be back on their feet soon.

Jacky Long and his granddaughter Virginia Henson left their home before Hurricane Gustav and stayed at a storm shelter. While they were gone, their house burned down.

Two nights later, a con man stole Jacky's car from a storm shelter. This story has tugged at the hearts of our viewers and donations are coming in.

Our News 5 family is helping to rebuild Jacky's NASCAR collection and even filling up the closets with clothes.

Your money donations will help stock a travel trailer that was just purchased by Jacky's brother.

If you would like to help the family, you can make a donation to the Jacky Long Fund at the Regions Bank in Tillman's Corner.

Jacky is a man of few words but wants everyone to know that he's grateful for the help.
