HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Chancellor Malcolm Portera says the
University of Alabama system faces a $130 million cut in state
appropriations for the 2009-2010 school year.
Portera informed the UA System Board of Trustees of the outlook
at a meeting Friday in Huntsville.
Overall, Portera says the system likely will see its state
funding reduced by nearly a quarter compared with a year ago. That
includes an 11.5 percent cut instituted last June, a more recent 9
percent cut due to proration, and an expected 3 percent drop for
next year.

That’s alright with me because one day soon they’re all going to get fried.

I believe we are all due a nice Bacon wrapped Kobe beef fillet about now.
Barack should be eating pork chitterlings instead.

Baracks Porkers are flushing enough for everyone….

OK. No problem with laughing a little.  Here’s one for ya.

Did you know that some of that appropriations money was used to place signs behind every public toilet throughout the Southeast that reads:

FLUSH TWICE, IT’S A LONG WAY TO AUBURN ALABAMA.

Aaaaahahaha. You’re right, I feel lighter now.

“Flush”.....

I guess they’ll have to learn like the rest of us,to live on less and make do.When times are good, the sky is the limit and when times are bad you cut it to the bone.

Lighten up Bobcat we are all well aware of the economic situation of the schools, gotta laugh a little sometimes.

Auburn University will be announcing their appropriation cuts as early as Thursday of this week.
This is nothing to laugh at since the students will be feeling the effects of this first hand.

Live elephants and bird food should be the last of our worries with sarcastic remarks because
Roll Tide and War Eagles alike will ultimately lose this battle with our newest opponents Baracks Porkers.

Don’t worry Alabama’s high paid atheletes will make up the difference….War Eagle!!

ROFLMAO

i hope this does not stop the plans for a live elephant as a mascot this year. after all the trouble of getting the alburn head cheerleader to volunteer for the job!  ROLL TIDE!!!!
