12:56 p.m.Mobile police say the lockdown has been lifted. They're still looking for the suspect.
11:50 a.m.
Mobile police have placed Kate Shepherd and St. Dominic elementary under lockdown while they search for a stabbing suspect.
Cpl. Charles Bagsby tells news 5 that a man stabbed someone outside the Bama Motel on Government Boulevard around 10:00 a.m. The suspect took off towards Burma Road. Bagsby says police put both schools in the area under lockdown as a precaution.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’8”, 230 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
