Two Escaped Inmates On The Run

Alabama Atmore  MUGSHOTS The Alabama Department Of Corrections says both men escaped from a work detail in Atmore.

Police are looking for two inmates who escaped from a work detail in Atmore.

Brian Corbett with the Alabama Department of Corrections tells News 5 Charles Bales and John Rice have been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Bales is serving a 10 year sentence for a 2002 robbery. He would have been eligible for parole in June of 2010.



Rice is serving a life sentence for Baldwin County burglary in 1997.
