Two Alabamians Trying To Win ‘Survivor’

Alabama Mobile A cattle rancher from Mobile and a school principal from Auburn will be among sixteen contestants vying for the $1 million prize on the CBS reality show "Survivor."

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Two Alabamians - a school principal and
a cattle farm manager - will be among sixteen contestants vying for
the top dollar prize on the CBS TV reality show "Survivor:
Tocantins."
Drake Middle School principal, 46-year-old Debra Beebe of Auburn, and 24-year-old James Thomas Jr. of Mobile will compete for the $1 million dollar jackpot.
Thomas said he's watched every season of "Survivor" and wanted
to apply for the first season but he was still in high school then.
Contestants will test their survival skills in Brazil for 39
days.
"Survivor" airs Thursdays at 7 p.m. on WKRG News 5.
