MOBILE, Alabama - Authorities say a twice-convicted sex
offender was arrested just a few blocks from the Mobile home of a
woman he assaulted five years ago.
Authorities say 44-year-old Leon Anthony Davis Jackson was
supposed to be living in a Morgan County motel. Mobile police
spokesman Officer Christopher Levy said Morgan County authorities
contacted Mobile police Friday to say he might be in the area.
The Press-Register reports that Jackson has been charged with
failing to register as a sex offender in Mobile County and will
face similar charges in Morgan County.
Online court records show Jackson has four felony convictions,
including a 2004 home-invasion in which he assaulted a 25-year-old
woman.
The sex offender registry shows Jackson was released from jail
in March.

I have the answer….carry a concealed firearm and know how to use it!Simple.

just more proof that we need a death penalty for predators like this! as long as the system is broken repeat offenders will always walk the streets to attack more innocent victims!

cyoteone says:  There really are people who want to change and seek to prove to society that they can by abiding the laws set in place, no matter what the outcome.

I don’t buy what you are selling. I don’t think these people can change period. The best that can happen is to give them a permanent sex change, and keep them locked up, FOREVER! Why does it matter whether it was a random home invasion, or domestic violence? Rape is rape. Why did he “choose” to go back just blocks from his previous victim. I can only imagine.

With all the convictions and everything else on the man why is he ouot on the streets. What the hell happened three and your out? I thought that program was designed for this type of felony?

Four felony convictions, twice convicted as a sex offender, and now living down the street from a woman he assaulted… and he was released from jail?

What a waste of air.  I guess he didn’t get enough in prison.  Maybe he’ll have better luck this time.

Too bad he can’t get a ride in the pink Lexus and a paddling.

How long was he locked up for? Was the home invasion a domestic case or was it random? And in either case, was it sexually motivated? If this was a sexually motivated invasion meant to cause harm, and ofcoarse unprevoked. Then with multiple convictions, why was he walking the streets anyways?
There really are people who want to change and seek to prove to society that they can by abiding the laws set in place, no matter what the outcome.
But mr Jackson has added another thorn in the publics side and make it more difficult for others to change. It cant be that difficult to find a solution of how to weed these people out. And in fact its not. There has never been a way because we were looking in the wrong places to find it. Here is a program designed to Stop and possibly reverse this plague that haunts our lives.
This program was developed over ten years ago. Its name, Onerous Prevention Educational Need Silence Is The Enemy. OPEN-SITE victim prevention program.
