PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - Heavily recruited running back TrentRichardson is heading to Alabama.
He announced his decision Wednesday at Escambia High School in
Pensacola where he spent his high school career playing on Emmitt
Smith Field, named for the school's most-famous graduate and one of
the NFL's all-time greats.
Richardson had made an oral commitment to Alabama earlier, but
had hinted he might change his mind. That had Florida, Florida
State and Louisiana all recruiting Richardson, considered by many
the top high school running back in the country.
