6:15 p.m.According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the driver and front seat passenger were killed. The back seat passenger was taken to USA Medical Center.
Sheriff Richard Stringer says a witness told deputies the driver was not looking and did not see the train until they were already on the tracks.

Rescue crews in Washington County are on the scene of a deadly accident involving a train and a car. The collision happened around 3:30 p.m. in the community of Malcolm on Bates Lake Road (off Hwy 43) - about 3 miles north of the Thyssenkrupp Steel Mill.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office tells News 5 that two people have been killed. A third person was injured and transported by Life Flight to USA Medical Center in Mobile.
