Alabama Mobile Pregnant Baldwin County woman dies but her baby survives.

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama - Tragedy and joy hit a Baldwin County family on the same day.
Funeral services were held Wednesday for a 38 year old woman, nine months pregnant, who died unexpectedly Sunday after leaving church.
But her legacy lives on.
Carol Young had just left Styx River Baptist Church, driving with her husband and son, when she suddenly lost consciousness.
Church Pastor Randy Sirmon said, "What we understand from the autopsy report is that her heart just kind of stopped."
Paramedics rushed to the scene.
Sirmon said, "They did everything they could do to revive her, but they just couldn't get her back to us."
And paramedics still had another crucial job: Young was nine months pregnant.
They gave oxygen to the unborn child, then, at Thomas Hospital, Young's friends said a miracle took place: the birth of Emily Lauran Michelle Young.
Emily weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces.
Sirmon said, "She's doing good. She's going to have some difficulty. She still has some things ahead of her. She's holding her own."
So is Emily's father and friends.
Church pastor Randy Sirmon talked about a conversation his wife had with Carol Young a few weeks ago.
He said, "She told my wife, 'You know, if I die today, I can die the happiest woman in the world.' I believe that was her way of speaking to us, for preparing us for something, for this."
Mary Jane Collins, a friend of Young's, said, "If you think about how sad it is, you have to stop and think about the miracle of life: what she brought into this world as she was leaving this world."
Carol Young's husband is getting help from friends to pay for his wife's funeral.
The Styx River Baptist Church is accepting checks on behalf of the Young family.

I think you all should be ashamed of yourselves. This is a sad and tragic event. To go off on such irrelevant issues is in itself creepy. Peace and love be with this family as they begin a long and hard journey in their lives. We will keep you in our prayers. God bless the ones you love and the ones that love you!!!!!!

Mommy, I know you are in Heaven. I miss your Sweet smile and your tender touch (even though you were dead when I was born).
I wish you could see me with my long blond hair (even though I was born with black hair).
I know you can, because you’re my mom (and I believe the desceased have an ability to view the living).
I have the picture (of what??) and hold so close to my warm and tender body, and I know you can feel this (I’m sorry…but this just seems pornographic.)
