A Mobile family's desperate search for answers has now hit the four year mark.
On April 9th 2004, a convoy of fuel trucks was ambushed west of Baghdad. Nine Americans were killed and at least 17 were injured. Everyone in the convoy has been accounted for except Timothy Bell, 45.
Bell, who is a Mobile native and father of three children, was working as a civilian electrician for KBR, a subsidiary of Halliburton.
"It's a little frustrating because somebody might now something that's not saying right now," said Terry Williams, Bell's best friend. "When you don't know where your child or your father or your brother is, it eats at you," he said.
For four years, Bell's family has searched for answers. His sisters flew to Washington after the attack to meet with Halliburton executives and officials from the Pentagon, but so far they still don't know what happened to their brother.
