Stealing from a church, it seems unthinkable. But, it wasn't for whoever hit up Woodridge Baptist in West Mobile. Pastor Mack Morris says the thieves may have only gotten away with hundreds of dollars but they caused about 50-grand in damage,"its one thing to steal to provide food for your family when you're desperate but when you steal from a church you violated a, you've cross a line that people shouldn't cross," said Morris. 5 air conditioning units were hit and Mobile Police believe copper is what the thieves were after. Police say there have been 184 copper thefts so far this year. We're told 42 of those cases have been solved.
