Authorities called the search off around 6:30 p.m.
According to Cpl Charles Bagsby with Mobile Police and Lori Myles with Mobile County Sheriff's Office, officers, deputies and troopers were searching for 22-year-old Christopher Shane Gordon.
Cpl. Bagsby says Gordon was spotted in a stolen white GMC pick-up truck around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Officers began chasing the vehicle from Industrial Road and Bellingrath Road behind Degusa.
Gordon ditched the vehicle near Carol Plantation Road and Williams Road.
Cpl. Bagsby says Gordon is being investigated for a number of motor vehicle thefts.
Sheriff's spokesperson Lori Myles says he faces 14 outstanding warrants through the Sheriff's Office.

Bagsby says the police department wants to remind people to keep their vehicles secure at all times, by removing keys from the ignition, locking the doors and rolling up windows when not in use.

Dew, the world is round. LE knows they will come back.

I think this problem was covered several months ago. Somehow these criminals are getting out and walking the streets because of the way our policies are written. It seems like once you have a few marks on your proverbial ticket, you should answer to a JUDGE…

Glad you turned around.

SouthFan, when I was his age, I was headed the same direction. However, whenever I had a warrant, and tried to escape going to court, they would sit at my Mother’s home, in the front and back yard, waiting for hours. If I didn’t show for a few days, they’d check all my known hang-outs, knocking on 10-20 doors a day, and these were all pretty petty crimes. I thought it was funny then, but now that I look back at it, there’s so many other more important things they could have been doing. When I did decide to finally “MAN UP” and pay for my mistakes, they would come and get me after I called. I just can’t understand how he could have possibly got a bond, after havin gthat many charges.

Dew, I don’t understand. Blockbuster can find me when I have a video overdue. Yet, these folks walk around terrorizing quiet neighborhoods.

I know this kid.  I have let him in our house gave him food and shelter and clothing so what did he do….He stole my car.  I have reported it but after 3 years they still haven’t found my car.
This kid has been down every wrong trail.  I hope he gets what is coming to him.

Hope they find him soon.. Looks like this kid has been down the “meth” trail..

Sad. What kind of parents does a kid like this have? I hope this time they throw away the key…

Fourteen warrants @ 22, but yet he was still free to roam the streets. Wow, what a perfect working justice system we have. Way to go Congress.
