MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A judge in Mobile has sentenced a
21-year-old man to consecutive life terms for his part in a
December home invasion in which he stole a little boy's Christmas
presents.
Circuit Judge James Wood handed down the sentence Wednesday
after a jury found Brandon Whitfield guilty of burglary and
robbery.
Testimony showed Whitfield shoved a sawed-off shotgun in the
faces of Adrian and Brandy Harness at their north Mobile home three
days before Christmas last year.
The couple testified that they were bound with duct tape and
blindfolded and their 4-year-old son was bound with computer wire
as Whitfield and two accomplices tore open the presents under the
family Christmas tree before stealing the family's two automobiles.

5 dime bags eh?  Sounds like a dealer.  He deserves his sentence.

Wait4Me, i’ll spend $.24 cents on him but i’m not digging by my self.

KX your right he doesn’t deserve multiple life sentences, he deserves a death sentence, he is a non productive leach on society, has, is, and will continue to prey on honest working citizens as long as he is free to do so and our so called justice system allows him to do so.  He deserves life but not at the cost of our tax dollars.  Public execution would be my first choice.  Sympathy for the victims, not for the criminal. He had choices, he choose the wrong path and now he should pay for the life he wanted to live.

That’s an easy query to answer.

In the short 21 years that Whitfield has lived, he has demonstrated repetitive destructive and (physically and mentally) anti-social behavior that has proven that he does appreciate or deserve the same freedoms as others.  I just wish that you could peruse his criminal record from his teenage years.  I think it would be an eye-opener.

Ok. I went and watched the video. His friend has a little poodle. He lives in a nice house, he has a small hand gun. He has like 5 dime bags of weed in his pocket and what looks like a candy bar.

What on that video makes you think he should do MULTIPLE LIFE SENTENCES?

i dont have to say anything, wait for me did it for me,i think we tax payers are fed up with people walking all over us and then laughing knowing they are going to get a free ride.

Ashy-my prayers are definitely with the victims. I hope this guy NEVER sees the light of day again. He is a worthless piece of thug scum. I hope the family can find some peace with this sentence.

The title of this article does not do justice to the crime, he was the grinch who stole everything. He took any and everything of monatary value.
And the victims sense of security. All while the husband was just tryin to go to work and pay for the things he took.

Just so everyone feeling like its because he’s black the victims are black and glad he’s never going to be able to do this again.

Any one who has doubt about the sentence given to brandon whitfield check out his myspace pay attention to his video.http://www.myspace.com/150percentreal

He does have a violent record.
