A local school family has been devastated by the death of one of their students. Alabama State Troopers say 13-year-old Dillan Odom was killed Sunday when the ATV he was driving collided with a car on Mill Pond Road in Clarke County. Dillan was a 7th grader at Faith Academy in West Mobile. His middle school principal says Dillan was a good kid and a good student who had a strong faith, " I guess the thing that I would like for people to know most of all is that Dillan had a relationship with the Lord and we're very confident and we can rest in the fact that we know he's in heaven today," said Faith Academy Middle School Principal, Barry Pickering. Pickering says counseling is available for students who are having a tough time with Dillan's death.

I was wondering if that was the same Odom’s. We were talking about that yesterday trying to figure out if it was his son. Billy Odom from Walmart.

this is just really tragic. i am praying for the family. he looks like he was all boy, i mean a go getter, full of energy. i am just really sorry.

Dillan Odom is son of Billy Odom Manager at WAl-Mart Schillinger Rd
