I would lick to see Walmart take legal civil action against Nicholas Piper the robber. It’s people like him that give Walmart a bad reputation.

I live near this walmart to and see that the area is declining, but in all truth this area paticularly the area behind big time dinner that neighborhood has been going down for years now, long before walmart. I also believe I may be wrong but I believe the crime rate is higher in west Mobile as opposed to downtown Mobile. I feel like the drug problem in Mobile is not addressed the way it should be but I view it as a massive problem especially amongst teens and early twenties.

I will reiterate….
Wal-Mart equals crime, from the corporate office to the parking lots.
Boycott these stores and help put an end to violence and corruption.

Two years of public service in the armed forces after high school would do some good for all. College kids would only do boot camp and one weekend a month. Kids like this would do IED roadside search with a broomstick.

ickthus is right, this neighborhood has taken a hit with many undesirables moving in.

Walmart’s targeted customer base is lower income and less educated people.  With walmart come the peripheral stores catering to that customer base.  At this one, you will find the nail store, the hair salon, the check-cashing store, the off-brand gas station, a car wash, a fried chicken store, and a dollar store.

With that many “attractions” in an area, you then get the thugs with the guns and clown cars or the rednecks with shotguns and big trucks looking for the skanky women frequenting these stores.  They just hang around “chillin’” and waiting for an opportunity…

I live near this area and have seen the local neighborhoods falling into disrepair.  I still use the pet store, but stay cautious when walking to the car.

13 weeks at Parris Island, and they’ll have a new outlook on life. Trust me on this one. !!

Ooh-Rah!Semper Fi!!

Hey Rusty, I’ve got an idea, send them to Marine Corps boot camp. That’ll straighten em out!!!

i’m not rmseek. that corner back to big time dinner and BB pet shop has been taking it hard the last year. stupid and sorry has nothing to do with race. it is more about how you are raised and the gene pool. some will never swim and others never tought.

What is going on? Crime is everywhere no just on the Walmart on the beltline.
