A Good Samaritan was stabbed as he tried to help a woman in trouble. And, the Good Samaritan is only 13-years-old. Mobile Police say 50-year-old Wilbert George stabbed the teen at a Shell station on Virginia Street Tuesday night as he tried to stop George from attacking his girlfriend. After he was stabbed in the chest and neck, the boy ran to a home on Dearborn Street for help. We talked with one neighbor who says she's proud of the boy for doing something some adults wouldn't even do,"I'm very proud of him, and I hope he gets a heroes award," said Griselle Tanner. Police say the 13-year-old was taken to the hospital where he had to have multiple surgeries, but we're told he is now in stable condition. Wilbert George, the man accused of stabbing the boy, is charged with assault.
