Less than 12 hours after the bank robbery, Mobile police have arrested all three suspects.

Tuesday night, police arrested Stevie McKissick and Dennis Haire who were on the way to a relative's house

Police say McKissik walked into the RBC Bank on Moffet Road in Semmes around 9:00 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. The note also indicated he would kill the teller if he did not get what he wanted.

Haire is the older brother of the accused getaway driver, 18-year-old Dustin Haire. Police arrested Dustin this afternoon. They found his paycheck stub in a Pontiac Firebird that was abandoned near the crime scene. It turns out the car also belongs to Dustin.

Well this needs to be a wake up call for him.  He now knows he needs to choose his friends a little more careful.  I understand exactly what you are saying about his friends and peer pressure.  I did stuff as a kid because I thought I wanted to hang with a certain crowd.  He looks like a good kid, teens today are more brazen and higher risk takers then when I was a kid.  I hope that he is a good kid and this gets his life straight.  He needs to denounce what he did and his so called friends.  In my days as an officer I have stepped up to help some kids in court.  I can tell which ones have a good heart.  I hate to see kids throw there life away.

sorry but actions speak louder than words. he was old enough to know right from wrong. he chose wrong. the excuse hooking up with the wrong crowd is growing old. what if that gun had accidentally gone off? sorry would not have brought much comfort to the teller or her family. he did not have to threaten the teller, they are trained to hand over the money no questions asked.

I have known Stevie and most of his family since he was 12 years old. He really is a good kid. He just got caught up with the wrong crowd. I know what he did was wrong, but he didn’t have a weapon, and he didn’t hurt anyone. His family is so terribly upset over this and just blown away. This could happen to any of our kids when they hook up with the wrong friends. Peer pressure is harder to resist these days than when I was a teen.Kids want to look big and bad. They make mistakes. Stevie did make a wrong choice, but he is NOT a thug! I mean look at his pic, he is a kid! From a good home at that.He does need to pay for what he did, but a prison sentence is just too much. Please don’t judge him too hard when you don’t know him or why he did this.

yes he threatened to kill the teller. does not sound like anything but a thug.

I hope they get about 25 years each!!!!!!! Threatening a life, regardless whether you sat in the car or not, still makes you accountable.  If they’re such “great people”, what the heck were they doing at the bank and driving the car in the first place??  HMMMMMMMMMMMM?

Girls robbing stores, teens robbing banks, kids chasing moms with knives, what the he&& is going on with todays youth? PARENTING, I don’t care if they are GOOD kids or not they ALL know right from wrong and they all deserve what they get. Some of these parents should be questioned on thier skills, because this kind of stuff is getting out of control. We used to have to worry about gangs, thugs and the like, now days we have to worry about kids robbing and killing us. I know if I would have done these things in my youth, I would have had to beg the police to keep me locked up because I would never have wanted to face my mom’s wrath for such stupid acts.  These kids don’t realize if they keep it up they will come across the wrong person and end up paying for a STUPID MISTAKE with thier lives. Don’t get me wrong I did do things my mom didn’t know about but NEVER these types of crimes or signs of aggession. Please don’t make excuses for them ,they did something they knew was wrong

no, it makes them little thugs. they are bad people.

Well i don’t know Stevie and he is the one who threatened to kill the teller.

He threatened to take her life!  That wasn’t a mistake, that was criminal and they knew the whole damn time what they were doing.

everyone makes mistakes. people do stupid things. i just hope they learned their lesson and will change for the better. and this doesn’t make them bad people.
