
Sunday, nine teenagers from baldwin county were traveling eastbound on the interstate when their SUV flipped several times.
Investigators say 16-year-old Turner Little was driving above the speed limit and over-corrected when he lost control of the vehicle.
Five of the teenagers were thrown from the SUV.
15-year-old Charles Williams of Summerdale died in the accident.
His classmates and teachers at Foley Middle School didn't take the news too well.
"Our teachers have really had a tough time 'cause these teachers get close to these kids and I know that it's difficult anytime you lose a child. I mean I couldn't imagine what the family is going through right now," said Foley Middle School Principal Branton Bailey.
Alabama State Troopers say only two of the teenagers were wearing seat belts.
The investigation has been turned over to the Baldwin County District Attorney's office.
