Brooks High School track and field coach Brad Black and his team drove eight hours from North Alabama to compete in the state championship. But late Thursday night, Black received a call from the Alabama High School Athletic Association regarding the swine flu scare. The championship event was postponed.

"Just kind of shocked," says Black. "Then I started trying to figure out who's staying, who's leaving and what to do next."

"It's a big disappointment," says Adam Bourn, a runner with the track and field team. "An eight hour drive, money. I was mad. I was angry, but it's for the best because the swine flu taking precautions and make sure everybody's safe and not getting sick."

There is some good news. Local hotels and condos are offering refunds to sports teams.

It looks like those heifers can get after a mean plate of pasta and some dangerous meatballs!

And we should trust Janet Nottacluelapono? What about the new HHS Sec. Kathleen Seebelietous can she make a coherent decision without offending the masses?

Biden said not to use the mass transit, but BO and the “handlers” slapped him in a muzzle and spanked him like a petty thief in Hermans office.
Lets not close boarders, watch flights, or anything that might catch it BEFORE it gets into the US, lets just close the schools and stop schools sports.  What a bunch of thinkers we got ourselves up there in DC. (Damage Central)

Contradictory, ambiguous bureaucratical buffalo chips. The state and federal gov. has said no reason not to use public transportation or go to movies or ball games but close schools and stop youth sports.
