1:30 p.m.- The Alabama Bureau of Investigation brought in a portable x-ray machine.
- Agents determined there was nothing dangerous inside the suitcase. They cut it open and found clothes and paperwork inside.
- Police believe the owner of the suitcase had just been released from the Baldwin County Jail. They're not sure why he left the suitcase behind.
- The lockdown at Silverhill elementary has been lifted.
- The post office has reopened.

Bomb squad technicians are at the post office in Silverhill, investigating a suspicious package.
Police tell News 5 that a man left a black suitcase in front of the post office. They have blocked off access to everything within two blocks of the post office. The elementary school is also under lockdown as a precaution.
