Student Suspended For Having A Gun On Campus

Alabama Atmore  Pastor Doug Odom the founder of Temple Christian Academy in Atmore says an upper classman brought a pellet gun to school on Friday.

A student has been suspended for bringing a pellet gun on campus.

The founder of Temple Christian Academy in Atmore, Pastor Doug Odom, would not go on camera. But he tells News 5 an upper classman brought the gun on Friday. He was suspended for one day and is no longer allowed to bring his vehicle on campus.

Odom says he will bring the issue before the school board Wednesday night. The school board will decide if anymore disciplinary action will be taken.
