The lockdown has been lifted at LeFlore High School.

According to Mobile Police, 18-year-old Steven Croshon brought a .22 caliber handgun to school. The gun, which was not loaded, was found in Croshon's backpack in the school's gym.

Croshon was charged with carrying a gun without a permit. We're waiting to hear from school officials about what kind of discipline Croshon will face from the school system.

Does any one ever ask why? Why did he have the gun? Who did it belong to? Is it stolen? When will he be back to school? What did his daddy say, if you can find him? Where was his mama? Who bought the gun?

What’s the big deal about an unloaded gun? It’s just as deadly as a textbook, considering about all you can do is beat someone with it…

linda1990 What a great film reference !! And I agree with you whole heartily.

I dont blame him. If I had to go to school there, I would be packing more pistols than Josey Whales.

Mobile county should just put up a 12’ high barbed wire fence around these schools, patrolled by SWAT team members, and have ALL students pass through a metal detector. Blount, Vigor, now Leflore. All these kids know is guns, guns, drugs, guns. They should check each student upon entry for any contraband. It’s only a matter of time before somebody gets shot. I pray God will protect them all.

What kind of discipline no waiting needed he never sets foot in another school forever. He obviously did go to one for a education.

Maybe it was show and tell day??? Who knows??? lol

At least they found the gun before he could shoot his hand off.  Sometimes it is hard to figure out where the bullet comes out, especially if you’re dumb enough to bring a gun to school.

Don’t bring your guns to town…err high school.
