Apparently Jared isn't the only one who likes Subway. Customers at the Foley sandwich shop on Highway 59 were greeted by a four-foot long snake sunbathing on the sidewalk outside the front of the store this morning. Frightened employees at the bank next door called police, hoping officers would remove the curious reptile. A patrolman picked up the snake and dumped him inside a box then it was off to the police station for "questioning."Police officers on the scene tell News 5 they respond to all types of different calls and emergencies, but a snake call hasn't been dispatched in quite a while. Officers say snakes are making more appearances and are more visible now after last weekend's heavy rain.
